Placeholder Text Box:
A placeholder text box is a field in a document where users can enter their own text or provide answers to specific questions. It initially displays placeholder text to indicate the type of information expected, such as a name, date, or response. Once the user begins typing, the placeholder text disappears, allowing them to input their content.
- You can set the placeholder text to either a single line or multiple lines by selecting the desired option.
- Additionally, you can set a maximum character limit for the field. If the user exceeds this limit, they will be notified and can adjust their input accordingly.
- If you want to prevent any modifications to the placeholder text after the document is downloaded, you can set it as read-only.
Signature Text Box:
A signature field in a document serves as a placeholder for an electronic or digital signature, enabling users to sign using different methods. It will appear like this when the document is downloaded.
