What are List Variables and How to use them?
In Perfect Doc Studio, a list variable refers to a variable that holds multiple values.
They are used to store multiple related values under a single variable name, ensuring consistency and simplifying data integration across documents.
For example, Imagine you are creating an invoice template. Instead of defining separate variables for each product detail, you can use a list variable to handle multiple entries efficiently.

How to Add a List Variable to Your Design
To add a list variable to your design, follow these steps:
1. While creating a new variable, ensure you check the MAXIMUM VALUES box and define a value in the corresponding field. Without checking this box and specifying a value, the variable cannot function as a list variable.
2. This setting applies only to variables intended for multiple values.
3. The value entered in the MAXIMUM VALUES field determines how many times the list variable will appear in your design. For example, setting it to 3 will display the variable three times in your design area.
4. Similar to data variables, type "$" in the design area to view the list of available data variables. List variables are marked with an "L" symbol beside them for easy identification. Simply click on the desired list variable to embed it into your template.
Entering Values for List Variables
1. Navigate to the Preview and Download section.
2. Locate your list variable in the displayed list.
3. In the corresponding field, enter values one by one, pressing Enter after each entry. You can add as many values as needed.
4. Click the Preview button to view the entered values in your document.
